March 2005

3/31/05 - Sydney loves giving kisses, but doesn't like to blow her nose (though she knows how)

3/29/05 - Sydney 's top left molar cut through the gum - her 8th tooth!

3/28/05 - Daddy teaches Sydney how to fake laugh

3/27/05 - Sydney goes to Victoria 's Gardens

3/27/05 - When mommy comes in to change Sydney 's diaper, Sydney tells mommy "poo-poo" when pointing at her diaper. Yeah Sydney - it's a start!

3/26/05 - Sydney wakes up calling "momma" instead of "daddy" for once :); also says poo-poo before having her diaper changed - and she was poopy!

3/25/05 - Pediatrician appointment (1 year, 4 months) - 22.3 pounds, 30 inches long, head 18.75 inches; 2 shots; no more ear infection :)

3/24/05 - Sydney likes to say "bye-bye" while putting on her jacket and reaching for the car keys

3/23/05 - Sydney visits EncouraGym with her playgroup friends

3/22/05 - When Sydney is done reading, she'll close the book and say "bye-bye" (for about 5 months now)

3/21/05 - Sydney takes her first "school" picture - pictures on order

3/18/05 - Sydney has a playdate and shares a bath with Kaya

3/16/05 - Sydney 's first playhouse (from grandma and grandpa Brothers)

3/14/05 - Pediatrician - 22 pounds; checked ears-mild ear infection

3/13/05 - It was a rough week prior (a crankmiester), but her 7th tooth finally broke through (on the bottom)!

3/6/05 - Sydney teething again!

3/5/05 - Sydney starting to get back on track (health wise)

3/2/05 - Pediatrician - 21 pounds; mild ear infection & a flu bug; on a 24 hour clear liquid diet; in evening couldn't keep liquid down-extremely dehydrated; an hour away from admitting to children's hospital

2/28/05 - Sydney stayed home from playcare all week; can't keep food down

2/22/05 - Some playtime at Chuck E. Cheese's

2/21/05 - Sydney 's first trip to Scripps Birch Aquarium with friends Joey and Maddie

2/20/05 - Pediatrician - 23 pounds; checked ears-mild ear infection

2/18/05 - Pediatrician - 22 pounds; re-check ears - looking good

2/16-2/17/2005 - Sydney has real high fevers

2/13/05 - By now, Sydney sings her "Bye-Bye" song from swim class. It's so cute, I love it!

2/12/05 - Sydney dan ced in the Baby Boogie contest at the Baby Expo

2/6/05 - Sydney hosted her first SuperBowl playdate/party

2/3/05 - Pediatrician - re-check ears; still mild ear infection

1/30/05 - Went to the San Diego Zoo; Sydney loved the petting zoo and the sky tram

1/23/05 - Sydney 's 2nd set of top teeth broke through (6 total)

1/21/05 - Sydney 's second year atten dan ce at SwingDiego dan ce event

1/18/05 - Pediatrician - 21.3 pounds; monitor Syd's breathing - shallow

1/14/05 - All 3 of us sick with flu. No fun.

1/13/05 - Another sick day for Syd; Pediatrician - 21 pounds; collected urine (very interesting)

1/12/05 - Pediatrician - 22 pounds; re-check ear infection; Sydney gagging self & vomiting

1/11/05 - Sydney get first flu bug; sick 3 times during night. Poor thing.

1/10/05 - By now, Sydney "signs" MORE, ALL DONE, and MILK. Yeah Syd!

1/2/05 - Sydney 's says "eyeball" and likes to put everything over head/around her neck! (not good)
